The Decorations of Christmas

Last night I got home and my son had put up the Christmas tree. Okay, so that's not too bad. It's a small tree and very basic with decorations. I can live with it. Lights and a few ornaments. Nothing gaudy and obnoxious.

And then I came in to work this morning, where all this "scrooge" started... yesterday, the decorations were hung. You never really know how much you hate dislike garland, until it is EVERYWHERE!!!! Okay, small decorations are good. But when you come around EVERY corner and there is garland (of EVERY color) and then ornament balls....ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!

Holidays

Ok, I am not totally against the holidays, but it is Dec 1st. A couple women at work hung any decorations they had. Ok... overload! Can't do it. Too many decorations. I wanted to tear them down. Too soon, too many. Like I said, I don't mind the holiday, but too many decorations (especially on Dec 1st) is too many. I then came home and had to help decorate the tree. Aarrgghh!!!!!

Is this how Scrooge was born????
