WWTK WK 52

In the middle if LIFE is one big IF...so I am asking IF questions this week, and here is what I, Mamarazzi, wants to know:

{one} If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose?

Either ALF (the old classic) or NCIS

{two} If you could be guaranteed one thing in life besides money, what would you ask for?

{three} If you had to name the most terrifying event in your life thus far, what would it be?

When I almost died last year

Okay, so I am behind... well... wayyyyyyyy behind... but I'm here, ain't I? 

Ten on Tuesday (121)

1. Ikea: over-hyped and confusing or genius furniture company?

Okay, have only seen Ikea on tv ads... never really looked at there stuff... for me.. probably would confuse the hell out of me...

2. Your favorite interior-decorator-type person wants to makeover one room in your house. Which room do you choose and why?

My own... I live in it and want to enjoy it!

3. Describe the furniture in your childhood bedroom. Did you like it? Where is that furniture now? 

hand-me-downs from my brothers... big 6-drawer dressers and my small wooden rocking chair. Let's not forget my roll-top desk. Mom has the desk and the dressers and chair are in the basement.

4. When you’re done with furniture, what do you do with it? Donate it to Goodwill OR Sell it on Craigslist OR Put it by the curb and hope the trash guys take it?  How about move it to the basement? Is that an option?

5. My Pinterest furniture style could best be described as:

funky/eclectic

antique/shabby

chic

modern/minimalist

so random and varied it’s undefinable

Probably rand and undefinable.

6. Name the most important furniture/toy in a toddler’s playroom. And why? 

The toy storage... have you ever tripped over toys in the dark???

7. Your parents (or grandparents or other relative) are giving away all their furniture. Which piece do you really want?

The desk and the dresser with the large mirror.

8. Your biggest furniture buying or home decorating regret?

Uh.... not sure on that.

9. $1000 gift card! Do you want it to Ethan Allen, Ikea, Pottery Barn Kids?

I guess I would give Ikea a shot!

10. Bunk beds, loft beds, trundle beds, or canopy beds?

Had bunk beds at one time... they were cool.

Here are today's Questions:

1. Did you prank, get pranked or ignore April Fool's Day? Ignored it...

2. What is the most unusual thing you have in your pantry or refrigerator right now? I don't think we have anything unusual... we are kinda boring. Well, maybe a plastic container my mom brought home. It was so full the lid wouldn't stay on, so they put duct tape on it to keep it closed.

3. If you were in the "Miss America" (or another) talent competition, what would your talent be? I really can't say I have any talents... except falling UP the stairs... does that count?

4. What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Not having to be financial responsible.

5. If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to? I like the first name of Adriana.

{1} What is something that you currently spend money on that you consider a splurge or frivolous?

I buy myself a new CD or magazine

{2} Tell us about your first paying job. How old were you?

I was a paper-delivery person... if that counts, at 13. Otherwise, I started working in the office of a national non-profit company during high school - I was 16.

{3} Do you plan date nights and extras into a monthly/weekly budget?

Maybe once or twice a month, I go to a local wine bar and hang with my bud... her and I have dinner and some wine.

{4} Share one of your money saving tips with us.

Not go anywhere...  (honest)

{5} If you won the lottery - would you spend it frivolously or use what you need and save the rest? Why?

I would probably pay off my bills and then... who knows... maybe take a vacation...  (I know, I'm boring!)

1. If you were free to just hop in the car and drive, where would you go? Or, if you could hop a plane and go anywhere, where? Phoenix, to visit my "sis"

2. What's your most recently read favorite book? Designated Fat Girl

3. What's your favorite Spring Break memory? I went out to South Dakota to visit my Grandpa. (my first plane ride)

4. What do you put in your child's Easter basket? Or, for those w/o kids, what was put in your childhood basket? Hardboiled, colored eggs, jelly beans, and chocolate eggs.

5. Do you get a summer haircut?  Sometimes... depends on how warm it is outside... I hate it when my neck gets warm!

Physically, we have 8 operating phones in our house

Not really, I do like my android though...  did like my blackberry too...

Text or email - I spend the day at work on the phone.

{4} What do you think of Video chat? what do you use? (skype, facetime? google talk?)

I have installed Skype, but don't know how to use it.

I still shave every other day...

I don't take the time for myself... does one spa day in 42 years count?

02.03.12 Five Question Friday

1. What have you done recently that you are proud of?

Earned my Associates Degree in Business (at age 41!!) from College

2. What is your favorite way to work out? Or if you don't workout, what are you wanting to try?

I love lifting weights and walking on the treadmill

3. If you knew you best friend was cheating on spouse would you tell?

I am not sure. I guess it depends on what is happening in their lives

4. If you could afford a live-in maid or nanny, would you have one?

No, I would have to clean before the maid shows up so they don't have to see the mess!!!

5. Do you stress out about birthdays (specifically the age) or do you enjoy them?

I am gonna get older anyway. I guess age is just a number. I don't feel 42, so I guess I'll be fine... although I do have gray hair... and I still get zits!!!
