Reds or darker colors. Most cases, yes they do match.

{2} Have you ever gone for a mani/pedi? how often do you go?

Nope.

{3} Do you color your hair? do you have a salon do it or do you do it yourself?

Yes, I do it myself.

{4} Facials...have you ever had one?

Yes, once

{5} Would you or have you ever done botox?

Have not. No plans to.

{6} Beauty knows no pain, do you believe in waxing, electrolisis, eyelash extentions, anti-aging creams, micro-dermabrasion, peels, botox?

Never done any of them... never thought about it.

Friday Confessional 02.17.12

I CONFESS...

I was NEVER popular in school - I wasn't a nerd, I wasn't a brain, I wasn't an athlete, and I sure as hell was never considered pretty and popular. (I probably wouldn't have fit in with "The Breakfast Club" either!!)

I CONFESS...

I blended into the walls my whole life. Even now, I don't call attention to myself. I do my job, I work hard, I don't look for a pat on the back, and I go on to the next task.

I CONFESS...

I would like a little appreciation once in a while, like "good job" or "thank you". Is that so much to ask?

I CONFESS...

I do have talents and skills, but no one really knows I have them... unless they are willing to look deep inside me.

I CONFESS...

I wish more people could show respect to those around them and treat everyone equal, instead of playing "high and mighty" - that is one of my biggest pet peeves!!

Matter of Opinion

I have a question, of sorts, I guess.

How do you follow up a conversation that leaves you hanging with "I am already as sexy as is legal. I am sexy because I know I am".

Okay, so how am I supposed to take that? I guess I have a hard time because, first of all, it is coming from a guy; secondly, I have never considered myself pretty, let alone sexy.

I don't know why, but when that statement came out of his mouth, I felt like a train hit me. I must have had the look on my face of a dog hearing a high-pitch whistle.

Okay, I am looking for input... how you would take that statement and what does it say to you?

You know it's gonna be a long day when...

I wake up 1/2 hour early to use the bathroom and can't get back to sleep after that. Then, changed jeans twice and shirts three times. Its Friday for crying out loud, its casual day. I can't even just "throw" something on and be comfortable...

Its gonna be a long one!!!!!!

{1} How was your Valentine's Day?  lonely - stayed home and did homework


{2} What is your favorite flower? Did your honey get them for you? favorite are roses, nope, didn't get any


{3} Was Valentine's Day a big deal when you were a kid? nope


{4} Did you put up any Valentine's Day decorations? (bonus points for a picture) nope


{5} Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions? guess not, considering I didn't get anything or go anywhere...

Tired...

Have you ever hit the point where you are physically and mentally exhausted and there seems to be no relief? At what point do you throw in the towel and say "wake me in a week?" I am beat and exhausted. No idea which way I am going. Can't even think straight. Just want to curl up in bed and forget the world.

I am sure there are many people out there who have seen this post and who have re-posted it.

Yes, it is definitely a point that can be taken any way you want to.

This photo is true. Those of us who have these "stripes" have earned them, be it from having a family, or fighting with weight, or suffering from an eating disorder.

I, myself, have them from all of the above.

I don't like how my body looks and have always struggled with image, but we need to be honest and realize that we each do so much that we need to be more proud of who we are and what we have accomplished.
